Mission Statement
The Drelincourt School provides a safe and happy environment where every pupil can develop to the very best of their ability. We want each child to remember this school as a happy place where they were nurtured, valued and inspired.
‘A little school for little people’
The Drelincourt School is a Church of Ireland Maintained School catering for children in the 4-7 year age group (P1 – P3). Being an infant school allows us to dedicate ourselves exclusively to the vital early development of young minds and little people. The small class sizes, extremely well resourced classrooms, and a very experienced team of passionate staff mean that each child gets the individual help and support they need to make the best start in their educational journey. While we welcome and encompass all nationalities and religions, the Christian ethos permeates all aspects of school life and reflects the values, attitudes and beliefs of all members of the school community.
At The Drelincourt School each member of our community – pupils, parents, teachers, ancillary and auxiliary staff, and governors - are valued and have an important contribution to make to the life and work of the school. We are committed to providing a range of learning experiences for all our pupils which will enable them to explore and develop their talents and abilities.
We provide opportunities across the curriculum for children to develop their independence through exploration and investigation.
