We had a very memorable morning in school on Thursday when the Governors of the Drelincourt School presented a library to the School in memory of former Governor, Mrs Carol McMordie. Carol served as a Governor from May 1994 until her death in June 2021. During all that time, she gave faithful support to the School, not only by participating in governor meetings, but also by attending events in the life of the School, from open days to Nativity plays as well as meetings with the former Southern Education Board. As a qualified and experienced teacher in her own career, Carol recognised the sound educational start children gained at the Drelincourt School.
We are all looking forward to reading the wonderful new books in the Carol McMordie library.
